How do I care for my products?

You can view full care instructions in our Finish Guide, available to download on the Materials & Finishes page.

What are your sustainable practices?

We’re actively searching for more ways to improve our sustainability. Here are some of our current practices:

• We source our lumber from an FSC certified sawmill.

• We work with suppliers who plant trees as they are felled in the forest.

• Clearing mature trees at the peak of their yield potential provides younger trees with more light and resources to renew the forest.

• During processing, zero waste is created from the logs of the tree. What does not make it into the final product becomes a variety of materials, from shipping palettes to bedding for livestock.

• We utilize hardwoods instead of composites or plastics, which do not biodegrade.

• We reduce our carbon footprint by sourcing regionally.

• Scrap lumber is mulched or used to feed the fire at Ghostwriter Public House.

• Excess cardboard from packaging is bailed and recycled.

• Leather scraps are repurposed as craft material for the community.
